Getting Comfortable in The Uncomfortable”

Things might not be what you want right now. But it could be worse. How many of you can relate?

See, God is doing something new in your life. (Isaiah 43:19) And it will cause you to be uncomfortable for a moment. But in the end, it will be worth it.

“But I Want Something Better”

I need a bigger house. I need a better car. I need a new man. I need to get a better wife. Now that isn’t you, is it?

You’ve heard the saying before, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Truth be told it’s not. Sometimes you might find out that the grass is a bunch of brown weeds instead. Nothing that you expected at all.

It’s a foolish person that wants to replace God blessings with something else. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

Remember, he is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for which he has. (Epictetus)

“Stop Letting Them Get To You”

Some folks can be just low down, mean and hateful. But does that mean that you should stoop down to their level? NO!

Former First Lady Michelle Obama once said, when they go low we go high. But when they go low we should go to our knees in prayer and pray for those that mistreat and misuse us. (Luke 6:28)

At the end of the day, what you can do is one thing. But what God can do to your enemies is another. (Romans 12:19)

(10/12/2017) It’s Time To Get Dirty”

Life can be fair and unfair.  For God causes the sun to rise on the Just and Unjust. (Matthew 5:45) Does that mean you crawl up and rollover? NO!

But it does mean that you get dirty and fight the good fight of faith. (1 Timothy 6:12) YES, it’s not right and it looks bad. But God won’t let your enemies and this situation succumb you. (Psalm 121:7) Put your trust in God and not in man and watch the salvation on the Lord on your behalf.  (2 Chronicles 20:17)

Remember, to survive it is often necessary to fight and to fight you have to dirty yourself. (George Orwell)

“Signaling For Help”

Let me call my girlfriend to help me out. I need to get the fellas together and talk about this. I hope my mom and dad are there to help me. Sound familiar?

When you’re in a desperate state of needing help it can be overwhelming. Not knowing who to call or what to do can cause unnecessary chaos.

But before you call any and everybody. You must first call on The Lord.  (Psalm 145:18)

Remember, the faster you can signal for rescue, the faster you get out of that situation.  (Joseph Teti)

“Act Like You Have Risen”

There will come a time in everyone’s life where they will fall. The question is do you stay down when you’ve fallen?
