“A Matter of Personal Taste”

Nothing is going right. You’re about to leave the church. Job stressing you out. Got more bills than you do money. Folks keep telling you to smile but a grin is about all you’re going to do. Now does that sound like you?

Whether you want to or not you must rejoice and be happy even when you don’t feel like it. (Thessalonians 5:16) Actually, that’s when you have to do it the most. See, the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10) And that even means your joy and peace. So, don’t let him take your cheer too.

Remember, being happy is a matter of personal taste. (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)

“Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!” (Psalm 34:8)
