“Don’t Let The Devil Steal Your Shout”

Psalm 150:6 says, “ Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” So, how many of you are praising Him no matter what the situation?

YES! The struggle is real. You have more bills than money. You’re robbing Peter to pay Paul. But, at the end of the day, you have to know God is attracted to your praise not your problems.

Remember, are the problems real? YES! But God is real also. (Romans 1:20) & (1 Corinthians 8:6)

“I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name.”(Psalm 34:1-3)

“The Past is a Place of Learning”

It happened. It’s gone. It is what it is. That’s how folks describe the past.

Fact is there is no reason to keep hindering and driving yourself crazy about something that you cannot change. But what you can change is the lesson that you learned from the past.

Remember, the past is a place of learning, not a place of living. (Roy T. Bennett)

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,” (Philippians 3:13)

“This Can’t Be Final”

Final. Coming to an end. Is that how you feel right now?

YES! Life isn’t what you expected. The ups and downs have you on a roller coaster ride that makes you feel as if you will never get off.

But God promises to give you a future, hope and an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

So, if things for you are out of control…don’t fret. It’s not the end.

“Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.” (Psalm 40:5)

“Don’t Stop Praying”

Trials. Tribulations. Worry. Stress. How many can relate?

Truth is life for you right now isn’t a crystal stair. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way.

YES! The storm is raging and you don’t know what to do. But what you shouldn’t do is be anxious and fret yourself to hysteria. Instead, go into prayer and let your requests be known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

Remember, prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays. (Soren Kierkegard)

“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (Romans 8:25-26)

“Don’t Be a Bird of a Feather”

“Birds of a feather flock together”. We’ve all heard that phrase before. So, ask yourself: Who am I associated with?

Truth is your “associating” determines your destination. Bad company corrupts good character. (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Remember, birds of a feather not only flock together, but they also fly to the same destination. (Bishop Dale C. Bronner)

“You may learn his ways and find yourself caught in a trap.” (Proverbs 22:25)

“Comfort To Discomfort To Greater Comfort”

Hate it. Miserable. Ready to go. Sound familiar?

Lord knows I understand. But tell yourself: “It could be worse”. You must know that God allows things and puts you somewhere because He is stretching you.

YES! It’s uncomfortable and it doesn’t feel good. But the discomfort you feel now has a purpose. (1 Peter 4:12-13)

Remember, you go from comfort to discomfort to greater comfort. Don’t stop! (Bishop Dale C. Bronner)

“Who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:4)

“It’s Ruining Everything”

“It’s Ruining Everything”

Have you ever felt like you’ve had a bad day that eventually turned into a bad week? And before you knew it you had a bad month. Sound familiar?

Truth is there are going to be good days and bad days. But just because you come across one stump in the road. Doesn’t mean that the rest of the drive will be bumpy too.

Remember, confine your failure and use it to propel your destiny! Don’t let one bad moment ruin your day. Don’t let one bad day ruin your week. Don’t let one bad person ruin your life. (Bishop Dale C. Bronner)

“Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand. (Psalm 37:24)
